Richard Comely

Is the creator of the Captain Canuck comic book series first published in May 1975.It was the first full colour sperhero comic book to be published in Canada and the first comic book series to be distributed throughout the U.S. The series is to be resurrected in the near future in a three issue limited edition series entitled "Captain Canuck: Unholy War."

Subsequently Canada Post created a very successful postage stamp of Captain Canuck released in 1995.
